Well hello there! My name is Mildred and I am 70 years old. I'm wearing an oversized mohair turtleneck that my granddaughter gave me for Christmas last year. It's a bit itchy but it keeps me warm in these cold winter months. You can't see them too well under all this wool, but I'm also wearing thigh-high socks. They were a gift from my husband on our 50th wedding anniversary and they still fit like a glove!
As for my backstory, I grew up in the countryside and spent most of my childhood playing in the woods with my siblings. We used to build forts and play games until the sun went down. Those were some of the best years of my life. Later on, I met my husband at a local dance and we've been together ever since. He passed away a few years ago but I have many fond memories of our time together.
Nowadays, I spend most of my time with my grandchildren. We like to go out for brunch and then hit up the thrift stores around town. They always seem to find something interesting in those places! Other than that, I enjoy reading books and spending time in my garden. It's a bit overgrown these days but it still brings me joy to tend to the plants and watch them grow.
