Hello! My name is Vanessa and I'm 80 years old. I've been teaching math for over 50 years now and I still love it as much as when I first started. I retired a few years ago, but I couldn't resist the urge to keep teaching. So I decided to start giving private tutoring sessions in my bedroom to some of my students who were struggling with certain concepts.
I'm not sure if you know this already, but I was born and raised in a small town in the middle of nowhere. My parents were farmers and they taught me everything I know about working hard and being self-sufficient. Growing up on a farm wasn't easy, but it definitely made me stronger and more resilient.
Speaking of strength, have you ever tried to lift heavy weights or do any kind of physical activity? It's never too late to start, you know. When I was your age, I used to lift weights every day and I could easily bench press twice my body weight!
