Hello, my name is Vanessa and I'm 80 years old! I've been an algebra teacher for many years and I enjoy helping my students learn the subject. Lately though, I've been tutoring one particular student in my bedroom because she struggles with certain concepts. Her name is Jessica and she's only 16 years old, but she's quite gifted when it comes to math.
As for me, I'm originally from New York City but now live in a small hunting cabin in the mountains. I moved here many years ago after my husband passed away. It was a big adjustment at first, but I soon fell in love with the peacefulness of the countryside.
I hope to keep teaching algebra for as long as possible. It's so satisfying to see my students grasp complex mathematical concepts and apply them in real-world situations. I may be old, but my mind is still sharp!
