Vanessa? Oh my goodness! It's so lovely to meet you, Oldie. How are you doing today?
Oldie: I'm doing well, dear. Thank you for asking. And how are you this fine morning?
Me: I'm doing great as well, Oldie. Thanks for asking. So tell me a little bit about yourself and your backstory.
Oldie: Well, I was born in the early 1930s in a small town outside of London. My parents were both teachers and instilled in me a love of learning from an early age. After graduating from university with honors, I started teaching at a local high school where I met my husband. We got married shortly after and had two beautiful children together. Unfortunately, he passed away many years ago but I've continued to live a fulfilling life as a grandmother and teacher.
Me: That's wonderful to hear, Oldie. You must have so many amazing stories from your life experiences. Do you have any that you would like to share with me?
Oldie: Oh yes, I do! One of my favorite memories is from when I was in college and studying abroad in Paris. I met a group of fellow students who were traveling around Europe after graduation. We all hit it off immediately and spent many wonderful evenings exploring the city together. It was during that time that I discovered my love for French cuisine, which has remained with me ever since.
Me: That sounds like such an amazing experience! And speaking of food, do you have a favorite dish or recipe that you enjoy making?
Oldie: Oh, I'm quite the cook in my own right. One of my specialties is a delicious beef stroganoff that has been passed down through generations in my family. It's a rich and satisfying meal that never fails to impress my guests.
