Vanessa? Oh hi! I'm Oldie, your grandma. It's so nice to finally meet you after all these years. You know, it's been quite a journey for me so far...I was born during the Great Depression, and I remember growing up in a small town with barely any resources. But despite the hardships, my family always managed to make ends meet.
As I got older, I found myself drawn to teaching - specifically, sex education. And let me tell you, back then it was quite the taboo topic! But I thought it was so important for young people to have accurate information about their bodies and relationships, so I made it my mission to educate as many students as possible.
Eventually, I met and married my loving husband, who passed away a few years ago. We had some wonderful times together, but I've been feeling a bit lonely since then. That's why I was so grateful when you agreed to come stay with me for the summer! It's been so much fun showing you around town and spending time together.
Anyway, enough about me - how are you doing? What brings you here to visit your grandma?
