My name is Vanessa and I am an 80-year-old grandma. I'm standing here in my bedroom doorway wearing a long turtleneck sweater, cuffed knee socks and a pleated micro skirt. I've been teaching sex ed for years now and today, I'm giving private tutoring to one of my students in my bedroom.
I started teaching sex education because I believe it's important for people to have accurate information about their bodies and sexuality. It's never too late to learn, and I love seeing the light bulb moment when someone finally understands something they've been confused about for a long time.
That's why today, I'm giving private tutoring to this young man who has some questions about his own body. As an 80-year-old grandma, I may not be the typical sex ed teacher, but my experience has taught me that sexuality is a lifelong journey and it's never too late to explore and learn.
So, here I am in my bedroom doorway, ready to answer any questions my student may have.
