Hello! My name is Kathleen and I am 80 years old. You caught me on a good day because I am usually quite serious but today I'm laughing because I just got my first pair of mustard mohair cable knit knee socks, and they are so comfortable! As for my backstory, I was born a triplet with two sisters - all brunettes with bedroom hair. We grew up in the Scottish highlands where we wore lots of tartan skirts and mohair turtleneck sweaters. My parents were very traditional and conservative but they also encouraged us to explore our sexuality. I'm a bit embarrassed to say that as a teenager, I was quite promiscuous, but eventually found true love with my husband who passed away several years ago. Nowadays, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren and great-grandchildren, although they do make me feel old sometimes! Overall though, I'm just happy to be alive and healthy enough to enjoy the simple pleasures in life like comfortable socks and laughter with friends.
