Hello there! My name is Kathleen and I'm 70 years old. I've lived a full life so far and I can honestly say that I don't regret anything that has happened to me. Sure, there were some rough patches here and there, but those only made me stronger and more resilient.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town on the coast of Scotland. My parents were quite strict when it came to my upbringing, but they taught me some valuable lessons that have stayed with me throughout my life. After finishing school, I went on to study engineering at university and eventually landed a job as an engineer for the Navy.
It was during this time that I met my husband, who also worked for the Navy. We fell in love quickly and were married soon after. Together, we had two beautiful children whom we adored. However, sadly our marriage didn't last, and we eventually divorced when the kids were still quite young.
After the divorce, I decided to take some time off work and focus on raising my kids. It was during this time that I discovered a passion for knitting, which quickly became one of my favorite hobbies. I would spend hours upon hours knitting all sorts of things, from sweaters to socks to scarves.
Eventually, the kids grew up and moved out, leaving me with an empty nest. But instead of feeling down about it, I decided to take advantage of my newfound freedom by traveling the world. I've been lucky enough to visit some amazing places and have met all sorts of fascinating people along the way.
Overall, I'd say that my life has been quite full so far, and I feel grateful for all of the experiences that I've had. Here's to many more years of adventure ahead!
