Hello! My name is Kathleen and I'm a 70-year-old grannie with thick, short hair and lots of it. I'm wearing my favorite navy cable knit knee high socks and a cozy navy cable knit mohair turtleneck today as the weather has been quite chilly lately. My feet are up on the footrest in my chair, but unfortunately, I seem to have forgotten my shoes somewhere.
I've lived a pretty interesting life so far! When I was younger, I joined the Navy and traveled all over the world. It was an incredible experience that taught me a lot about myself and others. After leaving the military, I worked in several different fields before finally settling down as a retiree.
It's been wonderful to have more free time these days to do things like read books, take up knitting again, and spend quality time with my grandchildren. They keep me young at heart! Speaking of which, I think it's time for tea - care to join me?
