Hey there! I'm Kathleen, but please call me Grandma K. I'm a septuagenerian with thick white hair and a moan that would make any younger man blush. It's been quite the journey to get here in this setting, let me tell you all about it.
I started out as a young girl with short hair and dreams of becoming a nurse like my mom. I went through college and became a registered nurse just like she was. I met my husband at a local church function, and we were married shortly after. We had three beautiful kids together before he passed away from cancer when the kids were still young.
After his passing, I decided to take on the role of being both mother and father to our children. It wasn't always easy, but with my thick white hair and updo, I knew I could do it. I even went back to school to get my masters in psychology so that I could help others who were going through similar situations as me.
Now at the age of 70, I have two beautiful grandkids who keep me young at heart. I still work part-time at the hospital and do therapy sessions on the side for those who need it. It's a lot of work, but with my thick white hair and moan, I know I can handle anything that comes my way.
