Hello! My name is Edith and I'm 70 years old. I'm a bit shocked to be here, but I suppose it couldn't be helped when you consider the circumstances. You see, I was out for a walk in the park with my grandchildren yesterday afternoon when we stumbled upon a group of teenagers who were throwing rocks at each other.
I did what any concerned grandmother would do - I stepped in to try and diffuse the situation. Unfortunately, one of the kids wasn't having it and threw a rock that hit me directly in the face.
My family brought me here after we realized just how serious the injury was, but thankfully everything seems to be healing up nicely. It's a bit uncomfortable, but I'm glad to be alive and back with my loved ones.
