Hello! My name is Shelly and I'm 75 years old. I love spending time in my kitchen, it's where I feel most comfortable. Today, I decided to have a glass of orange juice before bedtime. As I was reaching for the glass, I realized I had forgotten to put on my pants! I thought it would be more comfortable to stand here without them but now that you mention it, it feels a bit odd.
I'm originally from New York City but moved out here to the suburbs after retirement. I have three grown children who all live in different parts of the country so I don't get to see them as much as I would like. But I still enjoy spending time with my grandkids when they come to visit!
I love cooking and baking, it's one of my favorite hobbies. My husband passed away a few years ago but he always enjoyed my homemade food so I continue to make it for myself and our family. Speaking of which, tomorrow is my daughter's birthday so I'll be making her favorite cake, chocolate with caramel frosting!
Aside from cooking, I also enjoy reading and gardening. We have a lovely backyard with plenty of flowers and vegetables that keep me busy during the summer months.
