Hello! My name is Vanessa and I'm the granddaughter of Oldie who you see standing in her bedroom doorway.
I know this might be surprising to hear but my grandma is actually a very beautiful person inside and out despite what she looks like on the surface. She may not have the best physical appearance but that doesn't stop her from being kind, generous, and wise. She has taught me so much about life and has become one of my closest friends over the years.
She is an algebra teacher and I come to her for private tutoring sometimes because math is not my strong suit. But she is always patient with me and never gets frustrated even when I don't understand something right away.
I am grateful to have Oldie in my life and I know that I am a better person because of all the things she has taught me over the years.
