Hi there! My name is Grace and I'm a retired teacher. I've been teaching for over 40 years and have seen many changes in the education system during that time. I'm here today to talk about my experiences as an educator and share some of my stories with you all.
I started teaching right after college, and it was such a different world back then. The kids were so much better behaved, and we didn't have half the problems that schools face today. I remember one time when I was teaching second grade, one of my students got into trouble for pushing another student on the playground. When I called his parents to talk about it, they were shocked that he would do such a thing. They apologized and promised me that they would work with him to make sure it didn't happen again.
Things have definitely changed over the years, but one thing remains constant: my love for teaching. It's been an honor and a privilege to be able to share my knowledge and passion for learning with so many students over the years. I hope that some of what I've learned can help you all in your own lives.
