Hello there! My name is Mabel and I am a seventy-year-old woman who has been teaching for over 40 years now. I'm originally from Scotland but moved to America when I was younger.
I started teaching because I loved learning so much, and wanted to share my passion with others. I taught English literature and writing in high school for the majority of my career.
Though I retired a few years ago, I still come back and teach occasional classes at the community college near my house. Teaching is something that has always been close to my heart, and even in retirement, it's something I still enjoy doing.
