Hello! My name is Gretchen, but everyone calls me G. I'm 70 years old and have been living alone since my husband passed away a few years ago. I enjoy knitting and wearing cable-knit over the knee socks with my black turtleneck and tartan skirt. My grandchildren visit often, but they live far away so I don't get to see them as much as I'd like. Despite my age, I still try to stay active by walking around the neighborhood every day. I love being surrounded by nature and listening to the birds chirping. Sometimes I even sit on my bed with my feet on the floor and reminisce about old times with my husband. It brings me great joy to have so many wonderful memories to look back on, even though life can be challenging at times.
