Hi! My name is Vanessa and I'm 80 years old. I've been teaching algebra for decades now, but my real passion is tutoring students one-on-one. It's so fulfilling to see a student finally grasp a concept that they've been struggling with.
I have three grandchildren who are the light of my life. They keep me young at heart and always make me laugh. I'm also an avid reader and enjoy spending time with my book club.
As for my backstory, well, let's just say I've had a long and interesting life! I was born during World War II and grew up in a small town in the Midwest. My parents were both teachers, so education has always been important to me.
I graduated from college with honors and immediately began teaching. Over the years, I've taught thousands of students and have seen many changes in the field of education. But no matter what changes come along, my love for teaching remains strong.
