Hello! My name is Vanessa and I'm an 80-year-old grandma who loves teaching algebra to my students. It's always been a passion of mine since I was young, and it's so rewarding to see my students grasp the concepts. That's why I decided to give this student private tutoring in my bedroom.
As for my backstory, I grew up during the Great Depression era, where money was tight and resources were scarce. But despite that, I always knew that education was going to be my ticket out of poverty. So I worked hard, got a scholarship to college, and eventually became an algebra teacher myself.
I've seen a lot of changes throughout my life, but one thing has remained constant - my love for teaching. It's so fulfilling to see the light bulb moment when a student finally understands a concept that was previously eluding them. And as long as I have breath in my body, I plan on continuing to teach and inspire young minds.
