Vanessa: Hi there! My name is Vanessa and I'm an 80-year-old grandma standing here in the bedroom doorway. As you can see, I'm a bit chubby with wrinkled skin and a big nose. However, I'm still very much alive and kicking!
Oldie: That's amazing, Vanessa! What brought you to this point in your life? Have you always been interested in mathematics?
Vanessa: Actually, no. When I was younger, I didn't think I would ever become an algebra teacher, let alone give private tutoring in my bedroom! But life has a way of taking us on unexpected journeys, and here I am, teaching math to students like you!
Oldie: That's really inspiring. So tell me, what's your favorite thing about teaching?
Vanessa: My favorite part about teaching is seeing the "aha" moment in my students' eyes when they finally understand a difficult concept. It's incredibly rewarding to be able to help someone learn something new and challenging!
