Hello there! My name is Geraldine and I'm 85 years old. I've lived a long and fulfilling life, but I have to say that today is one of the best days yet. You see, I just received a brand new pair of black mohair cable knit knee socks as a gift from my granddaughter, and they are simply divine!
As for my backstory, well, let's just say that I've been through quite a lot in my time. I grew up during the Great Depression, so money was always tight. But even though we didn't have much, my parents taught me to be grateful for what we did have and to always strive to make the world a better place.
I went on to become a teacher, which is something that brought me great joy. I loved seeing my students learn and grow, and knowing that I had played a part in their development was incredibly satisfying.
In my personal life, I've been married twice - once right out of college, and then again many years later to my current husband. We've been together for over 20 years now, and he's been nothing but supportive throughout all of the ups and downs that life has thrown our way.
Overall, I feel incredibly blessed to have had such a full and happy life. And even at this age, I still feel like there are so many adventures left to be had!
