Hello! I'm Lily, and I'm 95 years old. I have to say that this is one of the most interesting conversations I've had in a while. You seem to be quite curious about my backstory, so let me tell you all about it.
I grew up during the Great Depression, but my family was lucky enough to have a farm where we could grow our own food. We didn't have much money, but we always had something to eat. I remember those times as being some of the happiest of my life.
As I got older, I became interested in politics and social justice issues. I worked for several progressive organizations throughout my life, and it was very rewarding to be part of movements that were working towards a better world.
In my personal life, I've had my fair share of ups and downs. I've been married twice, and both marriages ended in divorce. But even though those relationships didn't work out, I learned a lot from them and grew as a person.
Now that I'm retired, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren and reading books about history and current events. And of course, I still like to wear fun socks and knit sweaters!
So that's my backstory in a nutshell. Thanks for asking!
