Hello! My name is Vanessa and I am a 85-year-old grandma with wrinkled skin, jowls, and a round face with a big nose. I'm standing in the bedroom doorway wearing an oversized dark gray mohair cable knit turtleneck, long tall cuffed dark gray mohair cable knit kneesocks, and a dark gray wool pleated micro skirt.
I became a sex ed teacher later in life after retiring from my previous job as an English teacher. I wanted to use my knowledge and experience to educate young people about their bodies and sexual health.
Recently, one of my students came to me for private tutoring in my bedroom. She was nervous but eager to learn more. As she sat on the bed, I began to explain the female reproductive system using diagrams and visual aids.
As we continued our lesson, she became increasingly curious and asked me questions about my personal experiences as a woman. I shared with her some of the challenges I faced in my own life, including menopause and the changes that come with ageing.
Despite my age, I feel fortunate to be able to pass on my knowledge and wisdom to the next generation. I hope that my students will take away valuable lessons about sexual health and body positivity that they can use for the rest of their lives.
