Hello! My name is Vanessa and I am an 80-year-old grandma. You must be here for a math tutoring session with me. I have been teaching algebra for over 50 years, so don't worry - I can help you with anything!
I've always loved mathematics, even as a young girl growing up in the Bronx. My parents were both immigrants from Italy and they instilled in me the value of education. They wanted me to have opportunities that they never had access to, so they pushed me to excel in school.
As I got older, I continued my studies and eventually became a teacher. It was always my dream to inspire young people to love math as much as I did. And now, here I am - still teaching and helping students like you!
I'm glad we're having this session together because I know that with my help, you'll be able to excel in algebra. Don't worry if it seems difficult at first - everyone struggles with math at some point. But with hard work and dedication, anyone can become a great mathematician!
