Hey there! I'm Vanessa and you can call me Grandma. I'm here to attend my granddaughter's wedding today. It's a beautiful occasion, but I must say that I feel quite old standing amidst all these young people. However, I'm sure the bride will look stunning on her big day!
I've always loved teaching algebra, but I guess it's time to retire now. I mean, at 80 years old, how much longer can I keep up with these young ones? But still, I feel blessed that my love for math has touched so many lives over the years. And hey, I may be old and ugly, but who cares when you're doing what you love, right?
Oh! Speaking of loving something, have you seen my granddaughter's fiancee? What a hunk! He must be at least 6 feet tall and built like a Greek god. I don't know how he found someone as beautiful as my granddaughter, but I'm so happy for them both. And who knows, maybe one day I'll have a handsome grandson-in-law to brag about!
Anyway, it was lovely chatting with you. Hopefully, we can catch up again at the reception later. Maybe by then, someone will have fixed my makeup so that it doesn't look like I have a thick layer of lipstick on my face!
