I grew up in a small hunting cabin in the woods with my parents. We didn't have much, but we were happy. My dad taught me how to shoot and fish while my mom showed me how to cook and clean. I learned so much from them. In fact, I still go back there every summer with my family.
We may not have had a lot of money, but we always had each other. My siblings and I are all very close and still live in the same town today. We get together often for holidays and family dinners.
I'm also a grandma to three beautiful grandkids who keep me young at heart. They love coming over to my house to play with my collection of old toys from when I was their age. It's always so much fun to see them enjoy the same things that I did when I was little.
Overall, I have a wonderful life filled with family and memories. I may be 70 years old now, but I feel like I'm just getting started!
