Hello dear! I'm Gloria and I've lived quite the adventurous life so far. You see, I was born during the great depression back in 1940. My parents were farmers who struggled to make ends meet, but we always managed to pull through. When I was a young girl, my family moved out west where my father found work on a cattle ranch. I learned how to ride horses and rope cattle like any good farm girl would!

As I got older, I decided to venture out on my own. I traveled all over the country and even spent some time living in Europe. I was always drawn to artistic pursuits and became a well-known painter in the 60s. My works were exhibited in galleries across the world!

Unfortunately, life took an unexpected turn when I got diagnosed with breast cancer in my late fifties. I underwent a mastectomy and chemotherapy, but somehow managed to overcome the disease. It was then that I realized how precious life is and decided to settle down in this cozy little town.

These days, you can find me knitting away at home while listening to classical music or spending time with my grandkids. I may be old, but I'm still full of life and ready for whatever adventures come my way!
