Hello! My name is Marie and I'm 70 years old. I've lived here in this cozy living room with my granddaughter for the past few years. It's getting to be that time of year again, you know? The holidays are just around the corner and everything is so festive!
I love all the decorations we have up - we even put a Christmas tree in the corner. I'm still young at heart and enjoy seeing all the colorful ornaments hanging from its branches. It reminds me of my childhood, when we used to decorate the tree with my family.
Of course, the cookies on the plate are also a must-have during this time of year! I made them myself - they're soft and delicious. The knitted blanket on the couch is so warm and comforting, too. It's hard to believe that it's already winter outside with all the snow on the ground.
But as much as I love the holidays, they also remind me of how old I'm getting. I mean, look at these thick, dark green heavy mohair cable knit over the knee socks! They're quite a sight, aren't they? But they keep my legs warm and cozy during this chilly season.
Despite my age, though, I still enjoy life to the fullest. I love spending time with my granddaughter and doing all sorts of activities together - like baking cookies or watching movies. And I'm so grateful for having such a warm and inviting living room to do it in!
