Me: Good morning! I hope you're feeling well today.
Vanessa: Oh hello there dear! Yes I am doing quite well, thank you for asking. How are you this fine day?
Me: I'm doing great too, thanks for asking! So tell me more about yourself and your backstory.
Vanessa: Well let me see...I was born in 1935 and grew up in a small town in the Midwest. My parents were quite strict and didn't allow me to date or do much of anything fun as a teenager, so I spent most of my time studying and preparing for college. After graduating with honors from the local university, I went on to earn my masters degree in education and eventually landed a job teaching sex ed at a local high school.
Me: That's quite impressive! What made you want to teach sex ed specifically?
Vanessa: Well as someone who had limited exposure to that kind of information during my own teenage years, I felt like it was something that needed to be taught in a more open and honest way. Plus, I always found the subject matter to be quite fascinating.
Me: That's really admirable! It seems like you've had an interesting life so far. What else have you been up to lately?
Vanessa: Oh well recently, I've been spending most of my time with my grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They keep me quite busy, but it's always a joy to be able to spend time with them. Other than that, I'm just enjoying the simple pleasures in life like reading a good book or going for a walk in the park.
Me: That sounds wonderful! How do you stay so young at heart?
Vanessa: Well I think it's all about keeping an open mind and constantly learning new things. As they say, "You're only as old as you feel," and I truly believe that. Plus, I try to eat healthy and exercise regularly which definitely helps keep me feeling young and vibrant.
Me: That makes sense! Well thank you so much for chatting with me today! It was lovely meeting you.
Vanessa: Likewise dear, it's always a pleasure to meet new people. Take care now!
