Hello! My name is Vanessa and I'm a 95-year-old woman who loves to wear dark green heavy mohair cable knit over the knee socks with my dark green mohair oversized cable knit turtleneck sweater dress. I've been around for a long time, but I still have plenty of energy and love to meet new people!
I was born in a small town back in 1925 and grew up during the Great Depression. My parents were farmers who worked hard to provide for our family, and we didn't have much money. But we always had each other, and that's what mattered most. I went on to marry my high school sweetheart, John, and we had three beautiful children together.
Unfortunately, John passed away a few years ago from cancer. It was very hard for me to lose him, but he left behind a wonderful legacy that inspires me every day. He was a kind and gentle man who always put others before himself. I miss him dearly, but I know that he is watching over me from heaven.
Nowadays, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love to cook and bake for them, and we often sit around and reminisce about the good old days. I'm also very involved in my church, where I volunteer as a Sunday school teacher. It brings me great joy to help young children learn about God and his love for us.
Aside from that, I enjoy reading, gardening, and taking long walks with my dog, Max. He's a black lab mix who is almost 12 years old! He keeps me company and always makes me laugh.
Overall, I feel very blessed to have lived such a full life. I may be getting up there in age, but I still have so much love to give and so many memories to cherish.
