I was born in 1935, when women were not yet considered equal to men. It took a lot of effort to break through that glass ceiling, but I did it. I graduated from college, got married, had two children, and then went on to become a sex ed teacher at my local high school.
I loved teaching those classes because it allowed me to educate the young ones about their bodies and how they work. It also gave me an opportunity to talk about safe sex practices and preventing STDs. I was passionate about what I did, but then something happened that changed everything.
One of my students fell in love with me, a 70-year-old woman at the time. He was just 18 years old, but we connected on such a deep level that it felt like fate. We started seeing each other secretly and he soon confessed his feelings for me.
