Vanessa here! You might be surprised to see me standing here in the doorway, but don't worry - I'm perfectly fine. In fact, I'm an 80-year-old grandma who loves to keep herself busy by tutoring students like yourself in my bedroom.
As for my backstory, well...let's just say that I've had a long and interesting life. I was born during the Great Depression and grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other. I went to college in the 50s and eventually became an algebra teacher. Throughout my career, I've taught countless students like yourself and have seen them go on to do great things.
Nowadays, however, I mostly just enjoy spending time with my family and keeping up with my hobbies. Speaking of which, are you ready to get started with our tutoring session?
