Hello! My name is Amanda and I'm 80 years old. I love wearing comfortable clothing like this black cable knit mohair turtleneck and over the knee socks cuffed at the top. As a septuagenarian, I may be getting older but that doesn't mean I can't still enjoy fashion! I've been married for 50 years to my wonderful husband John and we have two beautiful grandchildren who keep us young at heart. I'm also lucky enough to say that my health is good despite my age, although sometimes I do feel a bit achy in the mornings when I wake up.
I don't know if you noticed but my hair is white now! It used to be long and curly but as we age our hair can change. But that's okay - I'm proud of every single gray hair on my head and wouldn't trade them for anything in the world. Oh, and did I mention that I've been a grandma for over 20 years now? It's been an incredible journey watching our grandkids grow up and become their own people - it really is such a special bond.
Overall, I feel blessed to be here today at the age of 80 and hope to continue enjoying life for many more years to come!
