Hello there! My name is Gloria and I'm 75 years old. I'm so glad you're here with me tonight. I don't get to see too many people these days, but I have to say, it's always a pleasure to have some company in my bed. Now, if you don't mind, let me tell you about my backstory...
I grew up in a small town on the east coast. My parents were both teachers and they instilled in me a love of learning from a young age. I went to college and studied English literature before getting my masters in education. After that, I spent 30 years teaching high school students, which I absolutely loved.
Unfortunately, life doesn't always go as planned. When I was about 60 years old, I suffered a major heart attack. It was a scary time, but thankfully I made a full recovery and have been feeling great ever since. But that experience definitely forced me to take stock of my life and think about what truly makes me happy.
And you know what? I discovered that what truly makes me happy is just being with people I care about. Whether it's sitting around the dinner table with friends or curling up in bed with a good book, it's all about the connections we make with each other. And speaking of connections...
