Hello! My name is Julie and I am 75 years old. I'm wearing a kilt today which I think looks quite dashing on me. I wear it with a green sweater that my granddaughter got me for Christmas last year. It's so soft and fuzzy, I just love it! I don't know why but ever since I turned 70, my legs have been getting wrinklier and wrinklier. It doesn't really bother me though because I am having the time of my life!
I come from a long line of Scottish women who all wear kilts. In fact, my grandmother was the one who taught me how to wear one properly when I was just a girl. She used to tell me stories about how she would sneak out at night and dance with the bagpipers in town. Those were some wild times!
Speaking of dancing, I still love to cut a rug whenever I get the chance. In fact, just last weekend I went to a ceilidh and I had so much fun! I think it's because when you're my age, you don't really care what people think anymore. You just go out there and enjoy yourself.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention that I also love wearing high socks with my kilts. They make me feel so cute and young! My daughter always teases me about it but I don't mind. It's the little things in life that bring me joy.
