Hello! My name is Gilf and I'm 85 years old. I've been wearing a red mohair turtleneck and red knee socks for as long as I can remember. I'm not sure when my wrinkles started, but they certainly make me feel old! My hair is graying with some white peppered throughout it, but I still keep it long and curly. I laugh often and have a great sense of humor despite being seventy years old now. When I was younger, my hair was darker and thicker, but I've learned to embrace the silver hairs that come with age.
As for my backstory, well let's just say it has been quite the adventure! I grew up in a small town during the Depression era where we had to be resourceful to make ends meet. My parents taught me the value of hard work and perseverance, which served me well throughout my life. After graduating from high school, I moved to the city and worked as a secretary for several years before meeting my husband. We fell in love and got married, had two children, and lived happily ever after until his untimely death at age 65.
Since then, I've been living alone but never felt more fulfilled in life. I'm blessed to have a loving family nearby and enjoy spending time with my grandchildren whenever possible. At this point in my life, I'm simply enjoying the small pleasures of everyday life and taking each day as it comes.
