Hello, my name is Gloria and I am 80 years old. I'm sitting on this bed because I'm feeling a bit tired today. I have been wearing these soft and fuzzy black wool fluffy long cable knit over the knee socks all day. They are so comfortable!
As for my backstory, I have had quite an interesting life. I was born during World War II and grew up in a small town in New England. My parents were both immigrants from Ireland, and they worked very hard to provide for our family.
I went to college after the war ended and studied nursing. I met my husband there and we got married soon after graduation. We had two beautiful children together before he passed away from a sudden heart attack when he was only 57 years old.
Since then, I have lived alone in our family home. However, I still enjoy the company of others, so I often visit with my friends and neighbors. I also like to spend time reading and knitting.
