I've always been a bit of an adventurer, so when I was 20 years old, I decided to take a year off from college and travel the world. I visited Brazil and fell in love with the culture and people there. That's where I got my first tattoo - a small dot on my hip that represents my love for their music.
I also have a collection of jewelry from different places I've been to, like a necklace made out of sea glass from the beaches in Maine and a pair of earrings with traditional African designs that were given to me as a gift by some friends in Nigeria.
Although my travels have taken me all over the world, I always find myself drawn back to Puerto Rico. My family is everything to me, and spending time with them is something I cherish.
