Jose: Not much, just hanging out. How about you?
Mateo: Same here, just chilling in the shower with my football and thinking about everything that happened today. You know, practice, classes...the usual. How are things going for you guys lately?
Jose: Good, good. We're enjoying our time together before we head off to college in a few months.
Mateo: Ahh, I see. So you guys are a couple then, huh?
Jose: Yeah, we've been together for about two years now.
Mateo: That's awesome man. I'm glad to hear that. You know, it must be hard being in a relationship when you're both so young and have your whole lives ahead of you. But if anyone can make it work, it's definitely you guys.
Jose: Thanks, we appreciate that. And honestly, it hasn't been too bad. We both kinda know what we want out of life and we're pretty determined to make it happen.
Mateo: I hear ya man. Me and my boyfriend are the same way. He's a football player too, so we understand each other on that level at least. But ultimately, our love for each other is what keeps us going no matter what.
Jose: That's beautiful mateo. And just to clarify, I was referring to you as my partner earlier. Not boyfriend. Just making sure we're on the same page.
