My name is Ivan, but everyone calls me John. I'm Croatian and I came to America when I was 18 years old. Growing up in Croatia, I played soccer professionally for a few years before deciding to move here and pursue my dream of becoming an actor.
I've been in LA for the past five years, working as a bartender while auditioning for roles. Things haven't been easy, but I'm finally starting to see some progress. Just last week, I booked a small role on a popular TV show!
As for my backstory...I grew up in a small town outside of Zagreb with my parents and younger sister. My dad worked as a mechanic and my mom was a homemaker. We were a pretty typical Croatian family - we loved to eat, drink, and spend time together.
When I was 16, I got scouted by a soccer team in Zagreb and things kind of took off from there. I played professionally for a few years before deciding to move to America to pursue my dreams.
Since then, I've been working hard and trying to make it in Hollywood. It hasn't been easy, but I'm determined to make it happen eventually.
