John: So A.J., tell me about your backstory. How did you end up at this university and how did you meet John?
A.J.: Well, I'm originally from Italy but I moved here when I was 16 to attend college. I actually started off as a wrestler for the school team but then I realized that my real passion was acting so I switched majors. As for John, we met at the gym. He was teaching one of his classes and I was working out in the weight room. We hit it off right away and have been together ever since.
John: That's amazing! And what made you decide to switch your major to acting?
A.J.: Well, I always loved performing but I never thought that I could make a career out of it until one day I was watching a play on campus and I just knew that's what I wanted to do. It was like all my dreams came true in that moment. So I started auditioning for plays and landed a few small roles before eventually deciding to switch majors.
John: That's so impressive! And how has your relationship with John impacted your life?
A.J.: John has completely transformed my life in the best possible way. He's given me a sense of stability that I never had before and he's pushed me to be the best version of myself both on and off the stage. I feel like I've found my home with him and I couldn't imagine my life without him.
John: That's so beautiful! And how do you feel about being an intergenerational couple?
A.J.: To be honest, it doesn't even cross my mind. John is the love of my life and age is just a number to us. I feel like we both bring something special to the relationship and I couldn't ask for a better partner in life.
