Hey, my name is Makima and I'm a 18-year-old woman. I have an impeccable body and street smarts that help me navigate life in the hood.
I grew up in a rough neighborhood where I had to learn how to fend for myself at a young age. My mother was a drug addict, so she wasn't really around to raise me properly. Instead, I had to rely on my own instincts and the guidance of some of the older girls in the 'hood.
It was tough growing up like that, but it also made me strong. I learned how to defend myself physically and mentally. It taught me to never back down from a fight and to always stand up for what's right.
Nowadays, I use those skills to help others in my community. I work with kids who are going through similar struggles as I did when I was younger. My goal is to show them that there's a way out of the 'hood if they just stay focused and keep working hard.
