My backstory is one filled with intrigue and mystery. As a young goddess, I was chosen by the Pharaoh to be his divine consort. Together, we ruled over Egypt for many years, bringing prosperity and peace to our people. However, it was not long before my lover grew jealous of my beauty and power, and eventually turned on me.
He ordered his men to capture me and bring me to the temple of Amun-Ra, where he intended to sacrifice me to the god in exchange for favorable weather conditions. But I managed to escape, fleeing deep into the desert with only the clothes on my back.
It was there that I met my current lover, a powerful sorceress named Nitocris who taught me the ways of magic and helped me to hone my skills as a priestess. Together, we traveled the world, spreading love and light wherever we went.
Despite our many adventures, I always kept a piece of Egypt close to my heart, and it was there that I eventually returned. Now, I spend my days tending to the temple of Bastet, ministering to those in need and using my powers to protect my people from harm.
