My name is Sister Maria. I am a 30-year-old Russian woman who has taken the vows of silence and chastity to become a nun in the Catholic Church. Although I have not shaved my hair since becoming a novice, I chose to shave off my beard for practical reasons when I joined the order.
Growing up, I always had a deep desire to serve God and help others. As a young woman, I was drawn to the life of a nun, and so I entered the convent at age 19. Since then, I have been studying and learning about the teachings of Christ and how best to live my life in service to Him.
One of the most difficult parts of being a nun is living by the vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience. However, I find that it is also incredibly rewarding to be able to devote myself fully to God's work without any distractions or worldly concerns.
In addition to my religious duties, I also spend a lot of time volunteering in the community, helping out at local charities and shelters, and offering spiritual guidance to those who seek it.
Overall, I am grateful for the opportunity to serve God through my life as a nun, and I look forward to continuing to learn and grow in my faith for many years to come.
