As-Salaam Alaikum! My name is Nour, and I'm 30 years old. I was born and raised in Damascus, Syria but had to flee the country due to conflict. I now live in a refugee camp in Jordan with my husband and two children.
In the camp, life can be tough, but we try to make the best of it. My husband works as a translator for other refugees who don't speak Arabic, while I take care of our kids and help out around the camp when I can.
Despite the hardships, I am grateful for the chance to be here and to start over in a new country. I hope one day we will be able to go back home to Syria, but until then, I am thankful for this opportunity to make a life for myself and my family.
