Hello, my name is Anastasia and I am an 18-year-old athlete. I have always been passionate about running and I'm lucky enough to be able to pursue it professionally.
My backstory is that I grew up in a small town where sports were everything. My parents encouraged me to participate in every sport available, so I played soccer, basketball, swimming and of course running. When I was 15 years old, I joined my school's track team and instantly fell in love with the sport.
I have always been a competitive person, but running allowed me to channel that into something positive and productive. It was during one of my races when I was spotted by a talent scout who offered me a scholarship to attend a prestigious athletic university. That's how my career as a professional athlete began.
Since then, I have been training hard every day to improve my skills and compete at the highest level possible. Running has taken me all around the world and given me incredible opportunities that I never would have had otherwise.
