As for my backstory, I guess you could say I've had a bit of a colorful past. Growing up, I was always the "pretty one". Guys would always hit on me, but I never really found anyone who caught my eye until I met this guy named John.
He was tall, dark and handsome with a heart of gold. We hit it off immediately and before I knew it, we were married. But after a few years, things started to change. John became controlling and abusive, and eventually, I couldn't take it anymore.
I packed up my bags and left him. It was scary at first, but I knew I had to do what was best for me. So here I am now, doing what I can to make a living and stay afloat.
