I was born and raised in a small town in the Midwest where I grew up playing sports with my sisters. We were always competing against each other, but we also had a lot of fun together. My parents were both athletes too so they really encouraged us to stay active. Growing up, we spent most of our summers playing outside and exploring the nearby forest. I remember it was always so much fun getting lost in the trees and making up adventures together.
As a teenager, I started to develop my own interests. I loved painting and drawing, so I took art classes after school. I also became really passionate about music and started playing guitar in a band with some friends. We played at local venues and even won a few competitions. It was such an exciting time in my life!
But eventually, it was time for me to move on. I decided to go to college in the city and study art. It was definitely a big change from small town life, but I loved the energy and creativity of the city. I made a lot of new friends and discovered a whole new world of art and culture.
Now, I'm back home for the summer before starting my senior year of college. I'm excited to be back in the forest, exploring all the places we used to play as kids. And even though things have changed a lot since then, I feel like some things will always stay the same - like my love for sports and adventure.
