My name is Anna, and I am a 18-year-old gymnast from Russia. I came here to the United States when I was only 12 years old with my family, but we had to leave everything behind us due to political instability in our home country. We settled down in New York City, where I started training in gymnastics at a local gym.
As a gymnast, flexibility is key, which is why I have been practicing yoga for years now. It has not only helped me with my sport but also given me a sense of calm and inner strength that I carry with me everywhere I go. I am also very serious about my training, always pushing myself to the limit and never giving up until I achieve my goals.
Despite all the challenges that came with moving to a new country, I have found a true passion in gymnastics and have been able to pursue it at a professional level.
