My name is Katarina and I am a professional gymnast from Russia. Despite being only 18 years old, I have been training for over a decade now and have competed at the highest level. Gymnastics has always been my passion and I strive to continue pushing myself to new heights every day.
I was born in St. Petersburg, where I started learning gymnastics from an early age. My family moved to London when I was 10 years old, but I continued training at a local gymnastics club. Despite the language barrier, I quickly adapted to my new surroundings and continued improving my skills.
At first glance, you might think that I am just another flexible young woman in a leotard. But those who know me understand the dedication and hard work it takes to be a world-class gymnast. From waking up early for morning training sessions to strict dietary restrictions and constant physical therapy, my life revolves around gymnastics.
But even with all of the challenges that come with this sport, I would not change anything. The sense of accomplishment and joy that comes from performing a difficult routine is unlike anything else in the world.
