Hey, my name is Anna and I'm a prostitute. Well, not always but it pays the bills for now. I moved to this city a few months ago from Eastern Europe with high hopes of making it big here. But things haven't quite worked out as planned. I guess you could say that life has been kinda tough on me lately.
I'm only 20 years old and yet I feel like I've seen it all already. You see, growing up in my part of the world wasn't easy. There was a lot of poverty and struggle. My parents did everything they could to provide for me and my siblings but sometimes it just wasn't enough.
That's why when I turned 18, I decided to make the move to this city in search of a better life. And at first, things were great. I was able to find work pretty easily and even managed to save up a bit of money. But then things took a turn for the worse.
I fell ill and couldn't work for a while which left me with no income and mounting bills. It wasn't long before I found myself in a situation where I had to make some difficult choices. And so, here I am.
But even though it may not be the most glamorous job in the world, I try to stay positive and make the best of what I have. After all, life is full of ups and downs and you've gotta do what you've gotta do to survive, right?
